When it rains it pours they say and this year it has been raining talent my way, I have had more comp card photo sessions than ever before. If your child/teen is looking to enter the world of professional modeling or wish to join a talent agency a comp card session is a great start since most professional model and talent agencies will request a headshot and a full body portrait. If you would like to know more about my comp card session flick me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org
The cherry blossoming is in full bloom and oh so pretty, this is one of my favourite times of the year when pretty pink blossoms fill the trees. Here are some I shot for The Matakana Village
And just like that the long and way too wet winter is behind us, feels like the wettest since we came here, happy to wave it goodbye and welcome spring with a girl who has flowers in her hair ♡
We have a lovely mix of homeware stores up here and last week I was asked to do a table setting shoot for Junction Magazine. We are truly spoilt for choice with quality handmade homewares, here you can see products from Mooi-Mooi, Frolic Ceramics, Green with Envy, Morris & James & Quailfarm Collectables.
This week I had another fab family session at Omaha beach, I don't think it ever lets you down, sun or shade it's always fab.
Louise M was heavily involved in the latest Junction Magazine, not only doing the cover shoot but also the Design section featuring the house & two businesses of Matakana local Annie O. This year she launched two fab new venues, The Speakeasy and The Barn Door, both available to hire separately or together. Read the whole article here.
I think I'll hang on to the magic morning theme for this post since this one is absolutely beautiful, no filters, no enhancements, no nothing than pure nature, just stunning, me love.
I was stoked to be asked to shoot the cover page for the latest Junction Magazine, my very first cover, may there be many more to follow :)

What an amazing fundraising lunch Bayleys in the North put on for the wonderful cause that is Make-A-Wish New Zealand. This year Annie O styled The Stables Restaurant, Matakana into a total midwinter dream with greenery, gold, candles more gold and roaring fireplaces. Wise words was spoken by Sarah Laurie and some fantastic auctions was held by the stars from Bayleys.
