All four hatched, amazing how translucent they are, they look so fragile. Fingers crossed they will all make it and one day fly out of the nest. Mama bird is doing a great job taking care of them and keeping the warm in this wet weather.

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting and finally it is here, yay! Look what I spotted in a tree that we have partially taken down, the nest was empty when first sighted but now there lay four beautiful blue little eggs in it. I can see the mama bird sitting when i pass it and take care not to disturb her. Hopefully they will be safe, now and when hatched.  |
